Research Associate-Assay Development

Within Assay Specialist Lab’s R&D team, candidate is responsible for identifying and developing next generation innovations for on-market and future platforms. You will work cross-functionally as a hands-on technical leader to develop new IVD products and perform early development on new technologies for future platforms.You have strong technical knowledge & practical experience developing state-of-the-art molecular biology tools (e.g. nucleic acid amplification technologies (NAAT), isothermal amplification, gene editing, CRISPR, Fanzor, protein engineering, etc.) as you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and inventing new molecular biology technologies to build highly multiplexed molecular IVD products. Experience with protein engineering would be a bonus.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field. Prefer Masters or Ph.D.

Based on level of education; BS ten (10+) years or more experience; MS three (3+) years of experience and PhD one (1+) or more years of experience as a scientist in the medical diagnostic arena.
